You Can Save on Cost of Medicines with Walgreens Prescription Savings Club

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Walgreens for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

As much as the government would like to extend health care to every citizen, it’s a known fact that not everyone is entitled to drug coverage that gives discounts on medicines. Most of the time, it’s only those who work for the government and the military who have this privilege. Of course, there are companies that give medical benefits to their employees like drug coverage. However, not all workers are entitled to such benefits. Since medicines don’t come cheap, it’s difficult when a person or a member of his family gets sick and medicines need to be purchased.

Thankfully, there’s the Prescription Savings Club at Walgreens that allows people to save up on cost of medicines. This is the perfect way to get savings while still get the needed prescription drugs. For now, Walgreens is offering the membership at $20 for individuals and $35 for families where one can include a spouse, children 22 years old and younger, and even pets as dependents.

Members of this club are entitled to savings on more than 8,000 brand name and generic medicines, bonuses on purchases of Walgreens products and even photo finishing services, and discounts on flu shots, nebulizer, diabetic supplies, and pet prescriptions.

If you wish to show your support for Walgreens on this endeavor, stay updated with the latest news about them by liking Walgreens on Facebook and following Walgreens on Twitter.
